<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br />California <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-03 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br />OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br />TO AMEND THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE ZONING MAP <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council on October 5, 2000 adopted Ordinance No. 2000-04, <br />thereby amending the Town Municipal Code by adding Title 18, Development Code, including <br />by reference the Town of Truckee Zoning Map; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council on March 30, 2005 adopted Resolution No. 2005-17, <br />thereby amending the General Plan Land Use Map and modifying the land use designation of <br />the property known as APN 19-460-07 from "RC/OS (Resource Conservation / Open Space)" to <br />"C (Commercial)"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is currently zoned "RC (Resource Conservation)" and <br />this zoning district is inconsistent with the Commercial land use designation and the General <br />Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council wishes to amend the Zoning Map and modify the zoning <br />on the subject property in order to bring the zoning into consistency with the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 18.06.030(0) of the Development Code states that amendments to <br />the Zoning Map shall follow the process established in Chapter 18.160, and the Council may <br />initiate amendments to the Development Code pursuant to Section 18.160.020. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Council of the Town of Truckee <br />hereby initiates an amendment to the Town Zoning Map to modify the zoning district on the <br />property known as APN 19-460-07 from RC (Resource Conservation) to RM-15 (Residential <br />Multi-Family, 15 dwelling units per acre) and/or CN (Neighborhood Commercial). <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Council directs the Community Development Director <br />to take those actions necessary to process the proposed amendment in an expeditious manner <br />in accordance with Chapter 18.160 of the Development Code and State law and to bring forth <br />the proposed amendment to the Planning Commission and Town Council for consideration at <br />noticed public hearings. <br /> <br />******** <br />
