TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br /> California <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 93-23 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE ENACTING TITLE 10 OF THE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS <br /> <br />The Town Council of the Town of Truckee Does Ordain as Follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. <br />follows: <br /> <br />Enactment. Title 10 of the Truckee Municipal Code is hereby enacted as <br /> <br />TITLE 10 <br /> <br />Vehicles and Traffic <br /> <br />Chapter 10.01 <br /> <br />WORDS AND PHRASES DEFINED <br /> <br />10.01.010 Definition of words and phrases. <br /> <br /> (a) The following words and phrases when used in the Title shall for the purpose of this <br />Title have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this Chapter. <br /> <br /> (b) Whenever any words and phrases used herein are not defined herein but are defined <br />in the Vehicle Code of the State of California and amendments thereto, such definitions in the <br />Vehicle Code shall apply. <br /> <br /> 10.01.020 Coach. Any motor bus, motor coach, trackless trolley, or passenger stage used as <br />a common carrier of passengers. <br /> <br /> 10,01.030 Curb. The lateral boundary of the roadway whether such curb be marked by <br />curbing construction, or not so marked; the word "curb" as herein used shall not include the line <br />dividing the roadway of a street from parking strips in the center of a street nor from tracks or right- <br />of-way of public utility companies. <br /> <br /> 10,01.040 Divisional island. A raised island located in the roadway and separating opposing <br />or conflicting streams of traffic. <br /> <br /> 10.01.050 Gross weight. The weight of a vehicle without load plus the weight of any load <br />thereon. <br /> <br /> IQ,01.060 Holidays. Within the meaning of this Title, holidays are those days set forth in <br />Chapter 2.60 of this Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
