CALL TO ORDER— Mayor Barr called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> 2. ROLL CALL: Council Members; Wallace Dee, Flora, Goodwin, and Vice Mayor deRyk <br /> Jones. <br /> Absent: Mayor Barr. <br /> Staff Present: Becky Bucar, Engineering Manager; Jenna Endres, Senior Planner; <br /> Jessica Thompson, Senior Engineer; Mike Vaughan, Senior Engineer; Scott Mathot, <br /> Assistant Engineer; Rob Leftwich, Acting Chief of Police; Thom Ravey, Street <br /> Maintenance Manager; Irene Brown, Administrative Technician; John McLaughlin, <br /> Community Development Director; Alex Terrazas, Assistant Town Manager; Kim <br /> Szczurek, Administrative Services Director; Dan Wilkins, Public Works Director/Town <br /> Engineer; Andy Morris, Town Attorney; Tony Lashbrook, Town Manager; and Judy <br /> Price, Town Clerk. <br /> 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —led by Todd Riveria. <br /> 4. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Carolyn Wallace Dee thanked Truckee Public Works Staff for the quick response and for <br /> cleaning up debris after the storm on July 4th. <br /> 5. PRESENTATIONS <br /> 5.1 Todd Hill, Bureau of Reclamation presented the Boca Safety of Dams Modification <br /> Project(presentation on file with the Town Clerk). <br /> Council questions: <br /> • Water storage 25% -The plan includes moving that storage to Stampede. <br /> • This project is funded by Washoe County Water Conservation District as well as <br /> the Bureau of Reclamation. <br /> • There are plans to protect fish and habitat. <br /> • The area designated for stockpiling is already disturbed. <br /> • This project will not increase the capacity of the lake. <br /> • The process is on-track for January 2017 for construction. <br /> • Modifications of schedule may move to late 2017. <br /> • Town Staff will be looking at aspects of this project that impact Truckee. <br /> Vice Mayor deRyk Jones opened the presentation items to public comment. <br /> Seeing none, Vice Mayor deRyk Jones closed public comment. <br /> Town of Truckee <br /> July 14, 2015 Truckee Town Council Regular Meeting <br /> Page 1 <br />
