CALL TO ORDER — Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. • <br /> 2. ROLL CALL: Council Members; Green, Brown, Wallace Dee, Vice Mayor deRyk Jones, <br /> and Mayor Anderson. <br /> Staff Present: Tony Lashbrook, Town Manager; Dennis Crabb, Town Attorney; Nicholas <br /> Sensley, Chief of Police; Dan Olsen, Animal Services and Code Compliance Manager; <br /> Nichole Dorr, Recycling Coordinator; Diane McLaughlin, Administrative Services Manager; <br /> and Judy Price, Town Clerk. <br /> 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — led by Dan Warren. <br /> 4. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Jacqui Zink, Truckee resident, and her neighbor Ray, received parking tickets over the <br /> winter. They have exhausted the appeal process. The appeals upheld the tickets and the <br /> fine (over $158.00). Ms. Zink requested Council reduce the amount of the fine based on <br /> mitigating circumstances. Ms. Zink asserted that the Truckee Police use tickets to generate <br /> revenue for the Town. Ms. Zink stated the tickets were for parking in the right -of -way <br /> between April and November and asserted the parking prohibition is from 10:00 pm to 2:00 <br /> am in downtown. <br /> Response: Mayor Anderson requested Jacqui and Ray send photos to Council. Nicholas <br /> Sensley, Chief of Police, stated tickets are not revenue generating. He is always willing to <br /> speak to citizens. He is not in a position to reduce a fine that has been upheld through the <br /> appeal process. <br /> 5. PRESENTATIONS <br /> 5.1 Nichole Dorr, Recycling Coordinator, presented the Keep Sierra Green Program and <br /> Mayor Anderson presented two Keep Sierra Green Program Awards. <br /> 6:15:12 PM <br /> Recognition received by Tahoeblu and Stoel Rives LLP. <br /> 6:23:17 PM <br /> 6.
