TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br /> California <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 95-08 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br />ADOPTING THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee wishes to adopt a Subdivision Ordinance to establish <br />subdivision regulations for the Town and to supersede Chapter IV of the Nevada County Land Use <br />and Development Code currently in effect; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 66411 of the California Government Code authorize the Town to adopt <br />ordinances to regulate the design and improvement of subdivisions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed ordinance at a public <br />hearing and formulated a written recommendation to the Town Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council has reviewed the proposed ordinance at a public hearing and <br />considered all information and public comment related thereto and the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Development Director has determined the proposed ordinance <br />is exempt from further environmental review pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed ordinance is intended to act as interim subdivision standards until <br />the Town adopts a General Plan, and a Subdivision Ordinance to implement the goals and policies <br />of the General Plan. <br /> <br />The Town Council of the Town of Truckee Does Ordain as Follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The Town of Truckee Subdivision Ordinance, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" <br />and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Surrgno~_ Publication and Posting. Within thirty (30) days after final adoption <br />of this Ordinance, the Town Clerk shall have a summary of the ordinance prepared by the Town <br />Attorney and published as required. Within fifteen (15) days after final adoption of this Ordinance, <br />the Town Clerk shall have it posted in the three (3) public places designated by Resolution of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
