TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br /> 111 California <br /> RESOLUTION 2009 -20 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL <br /> ADOPTING TOWN INVESTMENT POLICY <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council has the final authority to invest surplus funds <br /> pursuant to Government Code Section 53601; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council may delegate its investment authority to the Town <br /> Treasurer and explicitly provide what investments the Town Treasurer is or is not <br /> allowed to make in an annual investment policy; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to so delegate and adopt an Investment <br /> Policy for the 2009 /2010 fiscal year. <br /> x�xx+ <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. The Town Treasurer is hereby appointed to carry out the Investment Policy <br /> that is on file in the Town Clerk's Office. <br /> 2. The Town Treasurer shall submit a report to the Town Council of any and all <br /> investment transactions pursuant to Section 53607 of the Government Code. <br /> The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council Member Anderson, <br /> seconded by Vice Mayor Wallace Dee, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town <br /> Council, held on the 7 day of May 2009 and adopted by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Council Member Anderson, Vice Mayor Wallace Dee, Council <br /> Member Green, Council Member de- Ryk- Jones, Mayor Brown. <br /> NOES: None. <br /> ABSENT: None. <br /> Dr. Mark Brown, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> • <br /> ' Judy P ice, C r Town Clerk. <br />
