Wright, Town Manager, J. Dennis Crabb, Town Attorney; and <br />Vicki Soderquist, Deputy Town Clerk <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was led by Jon Lander. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT - None <br /> <br />PRESENTATIONS - None <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR (One motion approves all of the following actions.) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember McCormack, to approve the Consent Calendar, Seconded by <br />Councilmember Susman, approved unanimously with Councilmember Schneider abstaining <br />on Item 6.1 and 6.2, Counciimember Drake abstaining on Item 6.1, and Item 6.4 pulled from <br />the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />6.1 <br />6.2 <br />6.3 <br />6.4 <br /> <br />Minutes of May 19, 1998 Special. Recommendation: Council approve. <br />Minutes of May 21, 1998 Regular. Recommendation: Council approve. <br />Minutes of June 1, 1998 Special. Recommendation: Council approve. <br />Revised Job Classification List. Recommendation: Council accept the revised Job <br />Classification and Job Classification List per the David M. Griffith & Associates (DMG) <br />report, moving the Administrative Secretary position from Grade 5 to Grade 6. Pulled from <br />the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />7.1 Appeal of a Planning Commission Action to Deny Land Use Application 97-105/CUP; <br />Edgar Stratton, Owner/Appellant. Recommendation: Council uphold the Planning Commission <br />action to deny the conditional use permit application based upon the findings made by the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />The public hearing was heard out of order as the appellant was not present. <br /> <br />Gavin Ball, Associate Planner, gave a brief history of the Department's communications with Mr. <br />Stratton regarding the project. The Planning Commission had denied the project on three findings. <br />The applicant had expressed no interested in providing the necessary project information to staff. <br />Therefore, staff had initiated the Planning Commission hearing to move the project along. Mr. <br />Stratton was not unfamiliar with the requirements of the Town as he proposed a similar project in <br /> <br /> <br />
