Town of Truckee <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN <br />OF TRUCKEE CERTIFYING CONDITIONS REQUIRED FOR <br />THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE CLEAN AIR <br />AND TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1990 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Clean Air and Transportation Improvement Act (CATIA) of 1990 established <br />programs to fund transit projects in non-urban counties;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution 93 -36, the Town of Truckee accepted applicant <br /> <br />status for the following projects: <br /> <br />Transit Bus - Truckee/Tahoe City $157,300.00 <br />Passenger Shelters, Benches, Signs $ 49,943.41 <br />Paratransit Van $ 55,100.00 <br />Commercial Row Shuttles $167,000.00 <br /> <br /> Total $429,343.41 <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE <br />TOWN OF TRUCKEE, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Town of Truckee hereby certifies that it agrees to the following conditions <br />in accepting CATIA funds for these projects: <br /> <br /> A. That new development fees, taxes, or permit fees have not and will not <br /> be included in the operating budget for these projects; <br /> <br /> B. That other funding sources will be utilized to complete these projects if the <br /> project costs exceed those identified in the applicationsl <br /> <br /> 2. That the Public Works Director be authorized to sign the Allocation Request and <br />Project Certification on behalf of the Town of Truckee. <br /> <br /> <br />
