Town of Truckee <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-37 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE <br />TOWN OF TRUCKEE CONFIRMING PARCEL CHARGES, <br />AND DIRECTIONS TO COUNTY AUDITOR FOR <br />COLLECTION OF PARCEL CHARGES OF TSSA'S 1 <br />THROUGH 9, AND DONNER TERRACE AND PROSSER <br />WOODS PERMANENT ROAD DIVISIONS (FORMER <br />CSA's and PRD'S) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon its incorporation on March 23, 1993, the Town of Truckee <br />contained wholely within its incorporated limits County Service Areas (CSA) 4, 5, <br />6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19 and 35, and Prosser Terrace and Prosser Woods Permanent Road <br />Divisions (PRD); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Nevada County Local Agency Formation Commission <br />(LAFCO) Resolution No. 92-06, Nevada County Board of Supervisors Resolution <br />No. 92-483, and the passing of Measure H (November 3, 1992 General Election) by <br />a .7279% vote of the Truckee electorate, the CSA/PRD's were dissolved effective <br />June 30, 1993 and reorganized pursuant to Town of Truckee Ordinance No. 93-16 <br />immediately on July 1, 1993, into respective Town Special Service Areas (TSSA) <br />and Permanent Road Divisions (PRD) without change to boundaries or purpose; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the only effect of reorganization as provided in Truckee Town <br />Ordinance No. 93-16 is to re-designate the titles of CSA 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 19 and <br />35 into TSSA 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, respectively, with titles of Donner Terrace <br />and Prosser Woods PRDs remaining the same, and to assume transfer of jurisdiction <br />as directed by LAFCO from the County to the Town as the successor agency with <br />full authority to levy parcel charges and discharge the purpose of providing snow <br />removal and road maintenance services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as duly noticed, the Council of the Town of Truckee conducted a <br />public hearing on July 27, 1994, at which time written and oral protests could be <br />presented; <br /> <br /> <br />
