TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br /> California <br /> <br /> AMENDED RESOLUTION NO. 2003-54 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br /> CERTIFYING THE FINAL EIR AND APPROVING THE USE PERMIT, <br /> PLANNED DEVELOPMENT, TENTATIVE MAP, AND LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT <br /> FOR THE GRAY'S CROSSING DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee has received an application requesting <br />approval of several land use permits and approvals for a mixed use commercial resort / <br />residential development on APNs 19-410-19/21/24/26/27 and 19-370- <br />17/t 8/19/20/21/22/23/24/25/26; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said actions require legislative action by the Town Council, and the <br />Planning Commission is charged with the responsibility of reviewing the application and <br />forwarding to the Town Council a recommendation for the approval or denial of the <br />application; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee Planning Commission, at a duly noticed public <br />hearing, adopted Resolution No. 2003-22 on November 4, 2003, thereby recommending <br />certification of the Final Environmental Impact Report and approval of the project, and <br />adopting findings in support of such actions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public notice was published in the Sierra Sun and mailed to <br />property owners within 300 feet of the project site and all other interested persons <br />informing the public of the date, time, and location of the public hearing for the Council's <br />consideration of the Final EIR and the project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council held three public hearings on the matter at a regular <br />meeting beginning on December 16, 2003, and concluding on February 5, 2004 at <br />which time the Town Council considered all information and public comment related <br />thereto. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE <br />TOWN OF TRUCKEE as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The Council hereby certifies: (a) that it has independently reviewed and <br />analyzed the Final EIR, (b) that the Draft EIR circulated by the Town reflects the <br />Council's independent judgment, (c) that the Final EIR reflects the Council's <br />independent judgment; and (d) that the Final Environmental Impact Report prepared for <br />the Gray's Crossing development is adequate and complies with CEQA, based on the <br />findings set forth in Exhibit C attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
