Town of Truckee <br /> California <br /> <br /> TOWN COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 2003-57 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br /> APPROVING LAND USE <br /> APPLICATION NO. 03-010/DP-HDR-MUP-LLA-ABN <br /> (McMANUS/HORST JIBBOOM STREET) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee has received an application requesting approval of <br />a development permit, historic design review, minor use permit, lot line adjustment, and a <br />street right-of-way abandonment for a commercial development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the matter at their <br />regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting beginning and ending on November 12, <br />2003 and considered all information, and public comment related thereto; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, acting in an advisory role has recommended <br />to the Town Council to approve land use application No. 03-010/DP-HDR-MU P-LLA-ABN; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted Planning Commission Resolution <br />2003-30 recommending to the Town Council to approve land use application No. 03- <br />010/DP-HDR-MUP-LLA-ABN; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the project includes a road and a public utility easement which requires <br />action by the Town Council; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to <br />Section 15332, Infill exemption, of the California Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a 1 O-day public review period was provided to allow Federal, State, and <br />local agencies, interested persons and organizations, and other members of the public to <br />review and comment on the development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public notice was published in the Sierra Sun and mailed to property <br />owners within 300 feet of the project site informing the public on the project, in addition to <br />the date, time, and location of the public hearing for the consideration of the development; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Town Council held a public hearing on the matter at their regularly <br />scheduled Planning Commission meeting beginning and ending on December 18, 2003 <br />and considered Planning Commission recommendation to approve the McManus/Horst <br />Jibboom Street development located on APN's 19-102-11-15 and 17 in a duly noticed <br />hearing at which all interested parties has an opportunity to present evidence and <br />testimony; and <br /> <br /> <br />
