07 Parking RegulationsTown of Truckee California ORDINANCE NO. 94-07 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE ADDING CHAPTER 10.~ TO TITLE 10 OF THE TRUCKEE MUNICIPAL CODE ADOPTING PARKING REGULATIONS The Town Council of the Town of Truckee Ordains as Follows: Section 1. Enac~ent. The Truckee Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding Chapter 0.~o Title 10 adopting parking regulations as follows: TITLE 10 Parking Regulations Chapter 10.J~' 10._~.010 WORDS AND PHRASES DEFINED Definition of words and phrases. (a) The following words and phrases when used in this Title shall, for the purpose of this Title, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this Chapter. (b) Whenever any words and phrases used herein are not defined herein but are defined in the Vehicle Code of the State of California and amendments thereto, such definitions in the Vehicle Code shall apply. 10:t1~.020 No Parking. Donner Pass Road on both sides of the roadway from Northwoods Boulevard to Cold Stream Road from November I to April 1. ./ 10.~.030 Two Hour Parkinm Parking is designated on the following streets from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM seven (7) days a week: (a) Donner Pass Road between Spring Street and Bridge Street. (b) Highway 267 (north side) from Bridge Street to 200 feet east. (c) Bridge Street between Donner Pass Road and Jibboom Street. Town of Truckee Ordinance Page 2 (d) Spring Street between Donner Pass Road and High Street. (e) Donner Pass Road on the north side between Vista Avenue and Lake Avenue. (0 Church Street at the intersection of Bridge Street on the south side to a point 130 feet east. (g) Church Street from a point 80 feet east of the intersection of Bridge Street easterly for 200 feet, which would end at the front stairs of the Recreation & Park District Building. (h) On the fight side of Highway 267 from 110 feet east of Bridge Street to Bridge Street. ~ l~10 Parking Anytime. No parking at any time is designated on the following streets: (a) Jibboom Street on the south side from the intersection of Bridge Street westerly to a point of 355 feet. (b) On Deerfield Drive on the south side from the intersection of Highway 89 South westerly for 442 feet. On the north side westerly for 396 feet. (c) On South Shore Drive from Donner Pass Road to Summit Creek. (d) Any designated "no parking" zone or painted red curb designated by the Town of Truckee. (e) On the left side of Highway 267 from 470 feet east of Bridge Street to 220 feet east of Bridge Street (MPM 0.72 to 0.76). (f) Both sides of Highway 267 from Old Brockway Road to Reynolds Way (MOM 1.10 to 1.81). ~ Bail. All bails for parking violations as contained in Town Resolution 93- 75 and shall remain in effect. Section 2. Repeal. Any and all provisions of the County Code of the County of Nevada in conflict with Title 10 of the Truckee Municipal Code as herein enacted, is hereby repealed as incorporated by reference by the Town of Truckee. Section 3. postin_m Within fifteen (15) days after final adoption of this Ordinance, the Town Clerk shall have it posted in the three (3) public places designated by Resolution of the Council. Town of Truckee Ordinance Page 3 The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Truckee, held on the 7th day of April, 1994, by Council Member Carpenter, who moved its introduction, which motion was seconded by Council Member Botto, was upon roll call carded by the following vote: AYES: Council Members Aguem, Botto, Carpenter, Cross & Mayor Eagan NOES: None ABSENT: None Kathieen Eagan, Mayor The foregoing Ordinance, having been introduced on the 7th day of April, 1994, coming for final consideration by Council Member Aguera who moved its adoption the 21st day of April, 1994, which motion was duly seconded by Council Member Caxpenter, was upon roll call carried by the following vote: AYES: Council Members Aguera, Botto, Carpenter, Cross & Mayor Eagan NOES: None ABSENT: None AI~FEST: Stephen L.
