TOWN OF TRUCKEE <br /> California <br /> RESOLUTION 2017-44 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE DECLARING ITS <br /> INTENTION TO ORDER FORMATION AND TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS <br /> WITHIN THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> 2019/2020 <br /> WHEREAS, Kristin Lowell, Inc. has filed the report entitled "Envision DPR <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District No. 1 Engineer's Report for Fiscal Year <br /> 2019/2020" (EXHIBIT A) with the Town Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has approved said report on August 22, 2017; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Truckee, <br /> State of California: <br /> 1. That it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Truckee, California, to <br /> order the formation and to levy and collect assessment within the Envision DPR <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District No. 1 pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways code of the State of California (The <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972). <br /> 2. That the improvements in this assessment district are generally as follows: <br /> a) The maintenance of sidewalk improvements, including snow removal, snow <br /> off-hauling, and sweeping as described in the Engineer's Report; and <br /> b) The maintenance or servicing, or both, of landscaping and street lighting <br /> improvements, including the repair, removal, or replacement of all or part of <br /> any improvement as described in the Engineer's Report. <br /> 3. That the lands within said District proposed to be assessed are generally located <br /> within the territory described as follows; <br /> All parcel fronting Donner Pass Road between Richards Boulevard and Frates Lane, <br /> as shown on Exhibit B "Boundary Map". <br /> 4. That a public hearing on the levy of the proposed assessment will be held on <br /> October 10, 2017, at Town Council Chambers, Town Hall, 10183 Truckee Airport <br /> Road, Truckee, CA at 6:00 p.m. <br /> 5. That the Town Clerk shall cause a notice of a protest hearing and ballot to be mailed <br /> by first-class mail not less than 45 days before the hearing to all property owners in <br /> the proposed district pursuant to Section 54954.6 of the Government Code of the <br /> State of California. <br />
